Sometimes, you just need a break! I hope everyone stayed safe and your kidlets are feeling better.

My family (parents and sister) were vacationing in New York while the hurricane passed. I have never been so nervous about a hurricane in my life. On the East Coast of Canada, we get hit with lots, but I never worry about them - they are usually smaller hurricanes or tropical storms by the time they hit. But hearing about how scared New York was getting over the storm made me nervous for my family (who insisted on camping the entire time).

Some more great ideas - although most I don't (or don't need to) implement. When I am watching what I eat, I am pretty good at sticking to the portion size. As long as I measure it out before hand, I do fine portioning myself. It is when I don't measure that we have problems.

I can't believe how many CSA members there are! I love that idea. Might have to join one next season.
