Dem politicians looking for their base - not because they care, but because the continuation of their power depends upon the base being predictably in the same locale or political district. This is why Dems keep their base poor - so they can't afford to leave.

Unbelievable how the WI public employees unions are behaving - reminds me of small kids throwing a tantrum when they can't get their way.

I am particularly disappointed in the firefighters joining in the WI protests.

Here's how to be YOUR OWN firefighting force: just keep a couple of buckets of sand around along with a fire marshall-rated fire extinguisher. Wool blankets will also smother a fire.

Time to bring back the good ol' VOLUNTEER fire dept.

It can be argued that this Sheriff is to blame for this tragedy.

Why didn't he have any deputies on site for her protection? Seems to me he is trying to deflect attention from his own culpability.

"second amendment remedies" ? Ever hear of abortion? Wonder what *that* is.....not exactly a "call to action" ... honey, we're talking at this point something like 50 Million Americans aborted.

And, I suppose starving a population to death by destroying a superpower economy would be enough by endless rhetoric of "green shoots" and "shovel ready" projects that do not exist.

Or rationing of health care which would eliminate the old, the disabled, or the vulnerable.

And then of course there are the "New Black Panthers" and the undeclared war on the State of Arizona.

This is what happens under 3rd world governments.

In Banana Republics, regulations are only enforced on middle-class citizens and the rest (poor and rich) are ignored by the bureaucracy and regulators.
