GM had it's shot, and it failed. Ok, big deal! How many mom and pop stores have failed, but no one decided to care about them? I understand that there are a lot of jobs to be lost if they go under, but that'll just open the doors for smaller companies to get their foot in the door. It's not the end of the world if a company fails. Isn't this what capitalism is all about? We're supposed to fail! If we didn't fail then we wouldn't know how to succeed! As Thomas Edison said, "I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." It seems that GM has found one way that doesn't work, and it's time for someone else to take a shot at finding that one way that does work.

Let me see if I can understand what they want: they're boycotting the census until the laws are changed? Are these the same laws that they are currently breaking by being here? If they want to change the laws, why don't they just become citizens? That's a novel idea right there!

But no, they've got too much love coming from the far left that they won't ever want to become citizens. They'll make the profit off of the hard working, actual citizens, and never have to worry about a thing, because no one's ever gonna do anything about them. They're all too afraid of getting arrested for actually trying to enforce the laws of this nation.

This is despicable. All people who advocate illegal immigration should get their head checked.

This is what I like to call insanity. These people think that they can do this stuff because they are the US Congress. Well, they're wrong. They've been doing a pretty awful job so far, and it's showing. The American people won't sit still for long, and pretty soon they're going to get fed up. And when they do, it's not going to be pretty for Congress.

I am personally a fan of that Sprint commercial, with all of the firemen running things. If you haven't seen it, check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VO6DORwBzuA. That's the way things should be done, not with these 1000 page bills that no one wants to read that are full of earmarks and God-knows what else.

Oh boy...here we go again. The government needs to be involved less, not more, in our daily lives. Take a look at Principle 9: The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me. This legislation is clearly in opposition to that principle. It's just more red tape, more hoops for people to go through just to do their work. I understand that you're worried about the food, but come on! Why do we need so much extra red tape! Let the farmers do the work they've been doing for God-knows how long!

I believe in Climate Change. I also believe that the things that we've been putting into the air aren't exactly good things to be doing. But do I believe that humans are causing this climate change? Heck no. The Earth has undergone countless climate changes in its history, and it's not going to stop happening just because we don't want it to. Let's face it, we don't own Earth, we just live here. Mother Nature has a mind of her own, and she can do as she pleases in her home. We're just the freeloaders who decided to settle the place.

Ok, so now we're going through a climate change. So what? Life is tough, get over it. How do you think creatures in the past dealt with the climate change? Did they go to their leaders and protest? Did they stop hunting and gathering certain things? No! They just dealt with it. And those who didn't, perished. That's what we need to do. Suck it up and get on with our lives, or complain and die. That's what it's gonna come down to.

I think it's really ridiculous how something like this can happen, but God forbid if we even think about asking other religions to do the same...This country was founded by people who thought that the belief in God was one thing that could hold us together. It seems to me that the more we try to get rid of God, the more we will divide.
