Scam.
Keep an eye on the sky for me, if it starts falling, let me and everyone else know.

Let's get busy predicting volcanos, sunspots and whatever else we can't control that has a greater overall effect on climate than our Infinitesimal contribution.
This scam is all about money and power. Taking our money to increase thier power.
Oh, and creating Kool Aid guzzlers also.

All they have to do to combat GW is to extinguish the sun.
Problem solved.
And just how much "Gubmint'" money is being used from that guy "Grant"?
Funny we seldom hear about where he gets his cash stash.

I suppose that a reasonable amount of quality control is too much to ask in return for our tax $$.
If "the 91-year-old bridge continues to deteriorate", why didn't the engineering evaluation back in the 90's determine that it would be throwing money down the river by sticking a nice looking band aid on it.
Personally, I'd like to see some sort of culpability as a result of some of the "Do Overs", that regularly crop up from year to year.

Rather than CCP AP's story, you could have proof read it, and gone to the source for clarification.
I have never seen or heard of a " Remington .12-caliber rifle" until today.
Big difference between Caliber, and Guage.
Big difference between rifle, and shotgun.
Perhaps AP should have described the weapon as a "Remington 12 Guage shotgun".
Just a guess, but probably right on the money.

I made no reference to party affiliation. My point of view is formed by my belief and understanding of the constitution, not party.
I make my decisions to vote based on what's best for the country as a whole, based on my reasearch, not what is best for me. That would be rather selfish.
Country first, as it should be.
If you are waiting for the "bickering" to end, don't hold your breath, the only way for that to happen is for everyone to have the same opinion.

Q: Will this be the year that WSBT gives up on staking out the snail-mail mailbox to get the video of last minute filers, opting instead for an over the shoulder shot of Aunt Millie, clicking the "Send" button at 11:59:59?

Not. Gonna. Happen.
Don't hold your breath for that one.
Did anyone tell that to the 60's dregs of society hippies, when they were protesting?
You know, the ones that never grew up, that are "in charge" now?
My opinion?
Taxes are only part of the problem.
Elected bureauweenies need to stop throwing money around like candy from parents to five year olds, and get a clue about the limits of constitutional authority.
