My name use to be KickedintheMetsiclesAgain, which was meant to describe how I felt as a Mets fan.

Unfortunately, under Matt's new system, which I like very much, that name was too long. So I had to shorten it.

Thanks! I love these videos.

But I also love the Sham-wow commercials.

Doesnt Ted sound just like the Sham-wow guy? I wonder if they are related.

Where is Berg's segment? Sometimes its posted here and other times its not.

By the way, and not an insult just an obversation, but Berg could be the voice over for the Sham-Wow guy. He soulds just like him to me. Too funny!

To me the Rotunda is not Mets. Its Wilpon foyer made for himself not for Mets fans. Hey, its his stadium, he can do what he wants (and he did).

Me?, I ignore it and treat it like the old Subway spiral .... I get through it as quick as I can .... my eyes are down watching where I am going so I do not trip.

Speaking of losing a part of home field advantage I think I noticed an issue with poor acoustics.

First, the speakers are now in the back of the stadium and blast outward instead of from the score board inwards as it was at Shea. It is very hard to hear.

Second, when the crowd gets rowdy (i.e. when DWright hit the home run and the next inning with the bases loaded) the cheers seem to get lost. The stadium does not seem to rock like Shea did even though it seemed the crowd was as active.

The issue may be that the Mets with all their fan friendly angles and surround view did not take acoustics into account. This may be unfortunate if it prevents (as it seemed to last night) the stadium from getting into a loud and frenzied mode. Again, I think the crowd was at that state twice but it seemed as if the stadium was on "mute".

I would hate for this to be the case. If so, I think we lose a big part of homefield advantage.

Okay, time to put away the battery of Seaver to Piazza once and for all. They tried in once last year in a critical game and the Mets lost. They tried it this year to christen Citi Field in style and the Mets lost. Please, oh please, do not ever again march out the battery of Seaver and Piazza!

That nice of them to give Seaver and Piazza that honor. Afterall, they probably would not otherwise have gotten close to the field, since only a select few can afford a ticket below Promenade

I would have preferred Alou.
