A person with that as their only income should be buying a house at 125,000 or lower to be fiscally responsible. That or, surprise surprise, a down payment bringing it down to that level to make monthly payments affordable.

Also God expects the rich to give away most of their belongings to help further his kingdom. Give away, not have it forcefully removed. I submit to you the following versus...
[But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.”] -Acts 5:1-4
Noticed Peter says "While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control?". Their biggest sin was not keeping the money but trying to do so in secret. They attempted to lie to the Lord and look just in the process. He clearly shows that it was their choice to sell their possessions. It was not taken by force. I've never seen anything in the Bible that suggests the rich be forced to give up their money. They should do so of their own accord.
Also greed is on both sides when the poor (or even not so poor) are trying to force the rich to give money to them. Money should not be the focus of the rich or the poor. Rather God should be.

-Don't punish schools for low graduation rates. It only leads to reduction in learning quality for all. Schools make it easier to pass so the money keeps coming.
-Start failing more kids. If they deserve to fail, don't give them an easy out. They can work for minimum wage the rest of their lives or try to improve their education later if they become more mature. This also means we have to stop handing out welfare so much. Let people fail or succeed by how hard they are willing to work for their future. Welfare is just another easy out for kids who don't want to do anything.
-Find a way to judge teachers quality without test scores. If a student performs poorly on a test, you should go back and see what their class grade was. If it's an A or B then we have a teacher issue, if it's a D or F then of course they are going to perform poorly on test. They weren't doing anything in the class so what makes you think they are going to do well on the tests. This is the students fault, not the teachers.
My wife is a high school teacher and I work for a school district. I see and hear a lot and I can tell you without a doubt the number one problem facing kids in school is their own laziness. Kids don't even try these days. Why? Because they know they don't have to. Schools try to do everything they can to pass students who don't deserve it. All the while the media and public focus on blaming teachers for it.
Kids need to be allowed to fail or succeed. Stop passing lazy kids and start calling them out on it.
I should also add that we don't work in a state with powerful unions in place. It's not one of those situations where teachers don't do anything because of their overwhelming union influence. That's a whole other issue. Didn't want to make it sound like I think all these teachers are blameless. I think there is a big problem in states that allow that kind of union power.
