I'm trying to decide what my favorite part of your comment is. I've narrowed it down to the following:

-your mention of your advanced degrees which make you really smart
-the fact that you can see the future
-the fact that you are calling me a liar about the interactions I am reporting with market participants
-the fact that you ignored what I actually wrote in my post when I said that I didn't expect construction to immediately begin

Bruce - I'm probably on the other side of this one. I would always rather see more data. But that might just be the nerd in me as they say more data tends only to paralyze.

Chris - Now that you guys own Loopnet as well, I would think you could publish a monthly traffic index that would show interest in the market. Will we ever see that?

Exactly. As a land broker you want to be straddling the edge of the frontier. You need both a) land that is worth something and b) a lot of it.
