I'm not calling children dumb as rocks or sticks, I'm just not taking any advise from them or looking to them in times of crisis, confusion or emergency. When the shit really hits the fan, they freak out. It's our job to make sure they don't get hurt, not take a poll as to how they'd choose to be saved from any given danger.

Throw me into the ageist column as well, I have this goofy notion that children are not pint size Buddahs of ultimate knowledge and wisdom on any and all issues. Children as well as actors are empty vessels that spend a good deal of time playing dress-up and make-believe, not fonts of wisdom and intellect.

All this 'go green' crapola and hand wringing over CO2 is nothing more than the creation of a new mercantile out of thin air...literally.

Now that's the funny thing, in the mind of the leftist or statist; civilization, advancement and improvement is achieved by denial of our base human instincts (including right and wrong) because they are base, simple and crude. Base instincts are not lofty enough to serve the good of mankind...

I can't see a conspiracy here, more of a coalescence of emotion-driven notions based in that 'golden' era of changing the world via dancing in the mud - call it the March Of The Neo-Hippie. While marching to the same drum, they all do 'interpretive dances' to the beat. A swaying throng of spastic motions that leaves observers confused and more than a little annoyed as to what they just witnessed. The binder in this wave of mayhem is that if there is any shred of classical discipline it must be mocked and or destroyed - there is no end goal, nothing definable anyway, because that's not the goal, the goal is just to up-end anything that came before and make up the future as they go along, tic and tac to fit what feels better at the moment.
