question: does Gary Cahill make Bolton's defence worse? I'm pretty sure they didn't defend this badly when he was injured, and haven't kept a clean sheet with him in the side all year.

the big question is, how many more does Own Goal have to score this season before the word 'conspiracy' gets thrown about?

who else captained Own Goal this week? I know he's been out of form lately, but he has a knack of scoring goals for United in these tight away games. Especially when Rooney's missing or not quite on his game.

loving the season ticker-esque abbreviation of Wolfsburg. I can see Duff playing Hull, Stoke and Wolves, then getting a rest for Wigan and Liverpool (Europa is a Thursday, so more likely to have a break after the games, rather than before). Really don't know if that's worth the effort. But... Bullard... plays... for... Hull!

I really really want Duff back, but there's going to be some nasty Roytation coming up I reckon. Think I'll check Fulham's schedule and Bullard's chalkboards.

He'd be pretty stupid to. Villa are a counter-attacking side and actually do better against sides in the top half of the table. It's the weaker teams they struggle against, because sides like Wolves and Sunderland are happy to go up to Villa Park and sit on a draw. Chelsea's defence is pretty makeshift too, I'm sure he'd like Downing and Bashley to have a run at Paulo F and Zhirkov.

Threw one last week didn't I? It's actually been pretty hard to lose up until this week, took an 8 pointer a few weeks ago and still walked to the 3 points. I think the luck is just piling up; the weeks I have an opponent having a good week, I have a better one, the weeks I have a bad week, my opponent has a worse one.

He did, although so did Santa Cruz, and Mark Hughes. Souness did well in several jobs, but has any manager ever had such destructive spells in charge of clubs as Souness has at Newcastle and Liverpool? both teams are still recovering from his respective tenures.

Might do the same thing. Part of me is shouting "but Hull are shit and Bullard's a crock", but those fixtures look nice and he should be the one to benefit if Hull do score, or something.

McLaren is the most classic example of assistant coming into take over and dicking it up. I guess Mowbray has to be up there too in that list of crap managers after his persistence with expansive (losing) football at West Brom and Celtic. He got patronised last season, but really, he drove the best of the three promoted sides back down without any kind of fight.

The guy who replaced Dowie at Charlton - Les Reed. Rule number 1 of replacing the manager who just left: don't replace him with the bloody assistant. Anyway, Graeme Souness is still the worst manager of all time. Hull have just got to be grateful they didn't get him.

I remember that basic site template they used for a while when the server hand the major shut-down, and Mark was working so hard at it, Andy had to do the picks. Anyways, yeah, I liked that old cranky site thingy in comparison to this. At least I knew where the comments were. And actually, it was extremely easy to work out which reply was which - more so than any other comments system. Oh can we have the orange lights back too please?

I gots myself a similar problem, only I already have Arteta, and I hate every other midfielder out there to replace N'Zogbia. Apart from Malouda, and he's too expensive. **curses the Europa League and it's effect on my favourite Fulham midfielders**

just a little tip, remember to use the reply button. It's not so criminal on WordPress, but with this system, a lot of people use the Last Activity button, meaning your comment could be miles away from where ever the post was that you meant to reply to.
