I was referring to the actual Finnish version with subtitles. I NEVER watch overdubs. That would completely ruin this movie. The point of it WAS the amateurish acting and writing!

And yeah, I kind of agree about the Conservative swipe thing, but I usually look at things like that coming from foreigners as not really being quite as hateful. They are playing on memes more than anything they really feel emotionally about our politicians. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I imagine I will just laugh at their bad parodies of good Conservatives the way I laughed at their bad parodies of the Star Trek characters. After all, they don't know any better, right? They're European, bless their hearts!

Not one mention of the Star Wreck series that preceded this??? I've been waiting for this movie for THREE YEARS!!!

Before you guys just condemn them for using an old concept, wait till you find out how ridiculously hilarious these guys are! Go get yourself a copy of Star Wreck: In the Pirkinning to find out what I'm talking about!

Who knew such brilliance could come from FINLAND?!?! They started out making clunky spoofs with cheesy Flash graphics and built all the way up to full sets and serious computer-generated FX. It's a genuinely funny spoof of the Star Trek series that is arguably more entertaining than the real thing, but of course it's a comedy.

Of course you will probably only truly appreciate this if you are a Star Trek fan, because the characters are based on that series (multiple generations) and there are a lot of in-jokes that only make sense if you are a fan.

This woman has a set, I tell you. She may, single-handed, be the start of the downfall of the royals in Saudi Arabia! Reminds me of our country today. It's the women in the Tea Party with the cajones to call out our "leaders" and say it like it really is.

At this point, my attitude is... who needs 'em anyway? Do you seriously want a bunch of people to suddenly switch to our party who for decades have voted as a monolith for the very group of politicians who have been pi$$ing on them for decades??? Why would we want such a bunch of easily-controllable idiots to join us?

Now hear this! We don't CARE about your race! If you are of African descent, AND you are smart enough to actually analyze the issues and make a rational choice, then there is a place for you in the Republican (Conservative) party.

That whole "welcome mat" thing really set me off. Guess what... we don't WANT a welcome mat at the house of a bunch of idiots! Leave us your thinkers who are more concerned about making something of themselves and their children in a color-blind world, and less concerned about voting for the party that offers the most goodies!

It's time to join the AMERICANS already!
