How Sad!! But you are missing the point. This is just a drawing and 40 million people entered. It is not based on circumstances or personal stories. No matter how bad off you may be there will always be someone worse off than you. And that person would be upset that you won. Do you also get angry with lottery winners?? Its no different except that to enter this, its free. Try to be possitive. And good things come to good people.
Thanks, I really enjoyed dreaming about this home and what it would mean for my family. I would have loved to have been able to live in it if I had won, but unfortunately, I probably would have been forced to sell as I live in Minnesota(which I'd love to leave) but my family is here and NM is just too far away. That won't stop me from dreaming of the next one though!! Or entering!! Thanks again
Now I'm sad, I was planning to enter the drawing for the green home. ( I'm hoping you were joking)
Very well Said!! I also own a home and a business but am by no means "well off". By Ed's standards I would probably not be allowed to enter. Too bad, I had fun Dreaming!!
WOW!!!! Maybe you should run for office!! Maybe not
Natalie, Could you imagine what the blog would be like then. Wow what a story. If they say that this winner was hand picked because of Katrina, what would they say if the next winner was an unemployed mother of three with no home? Then the nay-sayers would complain that theres no way she should win cause she can't afford to keep the house and it was a charity pick. Give me a break!!!!!!! ITS RANDOM!!!!! A drawing does not discriminate. The unemployed mom with three kids has just as much of a chance as a wealthy single lawyer.
