There's a very simple compromise - make N/S traffic on this and other routes flow better.
- Get rid of some of the flashing crosswalks on Folsom and especially 28th street.
- Extend the green light periods on N/S thruways during rush hour.
- Make it easier for traffic to flow on Foothills (add another lane like they did between Iris and Valmont?)

This isn't just about Folsom. It's about a general frustration with increasingly awful traffic in this town during peak periods. I wish our lab rat overlords would pull their heads out of their backsides and see this.

Here's a better idea - why don't all workers and businesses just cut a check for 100% of their income to Boulder every year and then we won't have to waste the public's time with these asinine debates?

They took a busy N/S thruway and cut the flow in half. How the hell can they be surprised by this? The only explanation I've come up with so far is that they're blithering idiots. Anyone else want to offer up something better?
