In this age of modern technology, there is absolutely no reason for all the these travel expenses. They have conference calls, web cams, etc. No excuses! We need a CAP put on their travel (I agree some is necessary)and family members should be paid out of their personal finances, not our tax dollars!
We need to go back to Popular Vote! Maybe that should be the first thing we unite and stand behind? There are so many "issues" these days, everyone is going in different directions. We need to take our elections back to the power of "We the People". And we can only do that if we unite and take one issue at a time.

Our legal system is so messed up! I do not agree with anyone being able to come into your home without a warrant showing just cause. However, the issue should be to punish the ones who entered the home unjustified, not let the illegal immigrants go because it was not done properly. It's just like an officer forgetting to read someone their rights and the case is thrown out of court, instead the case should go forward and the officer reprimanded appropriately so he doesn't forget again.
Common sense is out the window and Justice is no longer blind. Sad.

I read somewhere, please correct me if I'm wrong, that she was one of the judges who dismissed the New Haven Firefighters case. No way in hell do I want her near the Supreme Court.
At first glance, this got me all fired up, but I agree with Nancy Nurse - How many friends are we talking about? I have a neighbor that has friends over on a regular basis and the noise, not to mention the parking up and down both sides of our narrow neighborhood streets, are an issue. If my house caught fire, the fire trucks would never make it through.
I agree! I've been paying them off and cutting them up since all of this started, with a goal of getting my car paid off in one more year (God willing my job holds out). This is done mainly out of fear for not knowing what's coming next. Figure it's time to set a good example for our government, by not spending more than I make. From now on it's cash (although if they keep going, I'm afraid my dollar isn't going to be worth much).
