You're both adults, so it's no one's business. Had you started dating when you were below the age of consent while he was 17 years your senior, however, that'd be an entirely different story. Actually, I'd expect raised eyebrows if you were under 20 and dating someone that much older. You were not, however. Anyhow . . . NG gets very indignant when pedophilia is alleged and the LGBT community doesn't rush to the support of the accused. The thing is, he is a convicted sex offender and his offense was both possession of child pornography and sending over over 100 photographs of prepubescent boys either exposing themselves or having sex with other males, both pre- and postpubescent, followed by a DVD of two prepubescent boys engaging in sexual acts, to an undercover police officer that he thought was a 14-year-old boy. It's all a matter of public record and not tough to find.

No doubt many people who've been convicted of possessing and disseminating pornography involving pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual activity hate the word pedophile being used in a negative sense. Well, that's just too damn bad. Just because you like pre-pubescent *boys*, NG, doesn't mean you should expect support from the gay community.
