This is one time the police need to be slapped up side the head!!! Someone there needs to accept responsibility and make changes to their policy. NO protest should occur at a person's house. They were all over the property! The police should have at least kept them off the yard and the porch area. Disgusting.
Why would you make such a stupid assumption? And what difference would it make? We American taxpayers already pay too much to educate their children, they get a lot of welfare benefits, so if we took that money and helped them retake Mexico, that would be a good investment. The money that some employers take out even for aliens without a SS# just offsets the benefits paid out.
Good point Bev, I personally have not seen that much anti-hispanic rhetoric except from politicians and people like Al Sharpton.
Immigration is a great thing, when done legally. We have to have a way of keeping out criminals and possible terrorists. Going through the system is the only way. And there is a limit to the number of people ANY nation can take in, it puts a strain on their systems. It's logic, that is all.
And it's typical to accuse someone of not having first hand knowledge. Everyone knows what is going on in Mexico. Corrupt politicians and drug cartels, murders, violence in the streets. Like I said go home and fight. Can you imagine if all 14 million went home, they could retake their nation. Heck I'd be willing to give them some of our tax money (since they won't be hitting the entitlement programs we could do this) to buy weapons and retake their nation.
We can help, but not at the expense of our own sovereignty. Why don't you go help?
Only in America are criminals treated as victims. We have no problem with legal immigrants like the two mentioned in the beginning of this article. And yes the requirements have become necessarily more difficult since the inscription on the statue of liberty. As are every other nation in the world! Look at the laws for immigrants to Mexico! They are more restrictive than we are. Hypocrites. Look, if they are coming here because things are so bad in Mexico, maybe they all need to return as an Army and do something about it. Don't just run and hide, abandoning your homeland. I sure wouldn't! If it ever got that bad here I'd be kicking butt and taking names. I think anyone running from Mexico is a coward. Go home and fight. Democrats are only using you to get more votes. Just like the Puerto Ricans.
And NO reform before the border is closed!
Get all his supporters working for the government (only growth area for jobs right now) and he'll be guaranteed to be re-elected.
Only thing that might save us, is runaway inflation before the elections. Sorry state of affairs when you are hoping for inflation. I'm not really, but can anyone believe there won't be at some point? When is the only question remaining to be answered.
