There's a thin line between provocative and slimy. Clock's ticking, James. You better invent some relevance for yourself soon or the spotlight will wander on to the next hack...
My mind is open and flexible. That allows tit to wrap around pretty much anything you throw at it :)
btw, blind screeching Nationalism is MUCH more the banner of the right, not the left. In fact the right likes to hammer on the fact the left hates America. Which in itself is comedy.
Oh, sorry, if I had known you were a historian I'd have withheld my comment as historians are intrinsically correct in all their assertions. Today the average tea party/righty would tell you that anything the left does is part of a secret plan to turn us into a socialist state, which hands down is right up there with "Elvis Lives" and "Goldline is a reputable company" on the comedy bullsmit scale.
Oh, I have a sense of humor, I have survived 4 straight incompetent administrations. And you might want to look up the definition of socialist. It's as lame for you all to keep beating that drum as it was for extreme lefties to decry the "nazi" right.
If you think it's the admin that's the problem, you're part of the problem. Polarization is the goal of the extremists on both sides. I didn't vote Bush, but I also didn't sit here claiming everything about America was being ruined by him. America has lost her ability to be on the losing side. Sometimes my guys wins, sometimes your guy wins. Why can't they all be working towards a better America instead of a more unified political opposition to everything the other side wants?
Nazi is the left's "Socialist" so enjoy the back and forth of intelligent debate.
