"Internet users should always have the final say about their online service, whether it's the software, applications or services they choose, or the networks and hardware they use to the connect to the Internet," Genachowski said.

Thus we should create new government rules and add a federal gov't department?

I am SO not understanding English anymore. This just doesn't make any sense to me. What has happened to my brain?

Exactly! HOLD YOUR TONGUE until you know the facts, like you said. I was irritated to see how many people jumped on the "James is stupid" bandwagon before the facts could be known.

Hannah is right to call out Michelle Malkin, though I'm guessing it took some courage on Hannah's part.

We do not have to blindly defend "our own" like so many of the Dems do. If James had done something heinous, he should have been pilloried for it. But it appears he likely didn't.

Hell, we don't even have to provide benefit of the doubt, really. Just refrain from opining until you have actual facts upon which to opine.

Maybe this will be a lesson to us all.

Just FYI - I mentioned in reply up thread, the Xmas episode, and the Sarah Palin episode were written by the same guy, and those are the only two episodes of NCIS he's written, though he's a producer. He's written some of the Mentalist and Bones also, probably all have the same liberal garbage and non sequiturs.

Gary Glasberg, liberal hack writer - http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0321782/

Ditto on the Corey Reynolds preachy stuff - what horrible uncomfortable dialog that was.

Just checked - Gary Glasberg is our culprit. He's also the one who wrote the episode "Endgame" where DiNozzo made a cheap Sarah Palin comment.

In all of my NCIS watching, that moment, followed by the Christmas episode, stood out to me as instances of bad liberal writing. They are, so far, the only two written by this guy.

Here's hoping that Mr. Glasberg sticks with his producer duties and quits writing.

Actually, outside of the silly Christian Honor Killing part, the NCIS episode was terrific. Jethro's dad came to visit and we got a lot of great stuff with non-talkers trying to fix their relationship. Dad was acting odd, so we figured it was early Alzheimers and Jethro was gonna have to deal with that. Ducky did a psych eval. Turns out that Dad had saved a couple of girls from getting raped at his store, had to kill the bad guy, and came to Jethro for help in how to deal. There were some good points about guns, doing the right thing, killing the bad guys, father-son-relationships, the whole deal.

Also - I love Pa Walton so it was great!

Saw both of these shows the night they aired, and was rather stunned by the similarity in the stories. It's not as if it could have been a surprise that they ran back-to-back.

In the past, NCIS has been pretty straightforward in showing Islamic Terrorists as bad guys.

Made me wonder if perhaps there had been some sort of complaining letter, and these two shows were the response - sort of "there you go, see, we made the Christians the bad guys here, so leave us alone now". It was almost that obvious of a suck-up, so out of step with what they'd been doing in the past. Looked like an extortion payoff to me.

I'm with you on the "they hate me" thing. I just have a hard time with folks who say "I hate you, buy my product" - and that seems to be most of Hollywood.

Oh no! From the ads that I have paid little attention to, I was under the impression that this was a standard feel-good story. How many people are going to be surprised by this?
