Ah yes... I've seen these before. Thanks Jeff! They really need to enable it as a web service as well.

HD captures are indeed happening and are also available in-cockpit for some of the cars. The feed gets down-converted for the world feed, even though my directv box says it's streaming in 1080i...

Hey Travis,

Seems like any tweak to rules and regulations would go against the cost-reduction measures. How would you envision the next Concorde Agreement, in order to address this?

If F1 had races in downtown SF and NY, we might get fans. Who wouldn't like to see F1 cars in downtown streets, where you're typically gridlocked?

When FIFA hosted the world cup in the US, the public seemed more interested in the sport, although it never came close to dethrone the NFL (I don't know why they call the superbowl winners are "world champions" when only one country is represented)

F1 is THE pinnacle of worldwide automobile racing. Since the US always have to be #1, most of the public will not follow a #4 to #10 team.

The US is one of the main markets for all of the manufacturers, so I don't understand why the FIA, FOTA and Bernie haven't been more pro-active about it. If there is an F1 US championship (with only US teams), we may get more fans that would more likely jump to the F1 World Championship.
