He is in the most enviable of political positions.

He is able to fight for what is right and bring home the bacon at the same time.

The contract for this particular piece of equipment was let 10 years ago. The contract was awarded and then the politics began.

Another battle looms in AL over funding cut for military training in handling IEDs (the big killer in the war on terror.)

The big picture is that the Dems are traditionally considered to be soft on national security and these actions coupled with the treatment of terrorist prove it.

Prepare to lose on all national security issues with this president.
