I've just checked the MD5 size of the iBEC.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu file in both folder #1 and #2 they're the same. It seems folder 2 and 3 are meaning less. (maybe the img3 files will be needed anyway) I'll keep it all. Also, same effect could be archived during only DFU restore which generates both the IBEC and IBSS. the iBEC.n88ap.RELEASE.dfu is the same in both DFU and regular restore. seems regular restore is pointless. the DFU is enough and generates both files.

I dont get it. During the restore of each (regular restore and DFU restore) the temp folder poped 3 times under different names: 1. Per2A07.tmp (contains some files) 2. Per5202.tmp (same files as above.. ) 3. Per866B.tmp (contains alot img3 files in some sub dir) I kept the 6 copies of the tmp.. what to do with that? Regards.

Well, the 3G took a while to get the unlocking option done by software.. so it might take a while aswell. My worries are they might block the iBoot anyway by the release of iPhone firmware 3.0.1 and then no one will be able to unlock. My 3Gs is simfree so I use it already but still want the JB done!

I'm sorry but who cares? You rather wait for everyone or use your phone as it should be??

Hmmm, I kinda think iBoot will be fixed in 3.0.1 anyway.. so the delay is pointless. If I'm correct, no one will enjoy this. Great work tho.
