Actually, the correct word is "stanch" - but I'm betting that's supposedly an example of their "highbrowness." I can't say I'll miss them when they're gone, as I never read it in the first place. :)

Well, this was probably the most effective way to make sure a lot of people skip watching the documentary. At least it's had the effect on me -- can't believe I'm alone.

One note -- I think a past commenter meant "anthropogenic" instead of "anthropomorphic." The latter would be saying that global warming has feelings and we shouldn't hurt them by denying its existence.
