Abortion and same sex marriage are creations of the Left; so it is the Democratic/Liberal party pushing an agenda. What you observe is the refusal of the GOP to accept debauchery. Why is pushing back translated into them using government to push their social agenda? What in the hell was Roe v. Wade? Was that conservatism/Republicans? The social agenda of the Democrats is foreign to the 230 years of this country's existance, not the Republicans. That "TRUTH OF THE DAY" was posted by an ideologue from the Left projecting their skewed moral compass onto conservatism.

I read Mr. Gerson's whinny, self pittying op-ed piece and he misses the point entirely. Since the MSM had so openly, and without aplogy, started reporting from the Left, the alternative media was created out of necessity. If Mr. Gerson and his ilk thought that they could attack private citizens who disagreed with progressive politicians, or who just ask a question of a progressive politician, and still be viewed as a respectable industry; then this delusion is proof of how disconnected the media is to mainstream America. So for that we say, "Good riddance! Don't let the door hit ya, where the good Lord split ya!"
If he doesn't like the fact that the media has become so polarized, they only have themselves to blame!
