LOL! Don't be a Negative Nancy. See my theory is developed from looking at the time-lapsed photos and the floor plan and the "comfortably sleeps 14" statement made by our bubbly Superfan. I believe the camera was strategically placed for a brief period convieniently blocking the view to the garage and more than one DH has had the home theater. The year they built the hidden one behind the bookcase was my favorite! Then again, you could be right and it could just be for storage....but I hope not! ;)
I'm guessing a huge home theater.
Thanks for the link! Our leaves are only just now beginning to turn here in NM but I'm afraid todays wind will blow them all away. :(
I just finished viewing the time lapsed photos and OMG! What an excellent choice for the site! With the amazing house and the gorgeous views--all I can say is this will be truly an AWESOME prize! As for what is over the car barn? I decided it is a home theater room large enough to accomodate 14 people.
My husband laughed when he realized that there isn't a barrier. We immediately agreed that we would install a tasteful privacy curtain when we win the home! Something that resembles tile...
You can refigure that if HGTV didn't take care of the lien the contractors placed on the home--$300 K. It was reported a couple of weeks ago on KOB-TV out of Albuquerque. I was sad to hear it that morning. I really hope the money isn't intended for the winner to take care of that!
There are schools in both Edgewood and Sandia Park! And, get this, Edgewood even has a library now! I confess, I am a bibliophile!
OOhhh! And an outdoor kiva fireplace?
On the practical side of life, if you just need a few groceries, Triangle Grocery Store in Sandia Park stocks many of your daily needs as well as a few more and they are comparably priced to your major chains. Also, Edgewood has really grown over the past couple of years in that it now has more than a few major chain stores. Now, as long as you have the 4 wheel drive, you will be ok when there is a good snow storm. The commute to Santa Fe on N 14 is still a little hairy though!
After reviewing the plans again, I think a bucket seat, 6 person hot tub on the patio to relax in and watch one of the most magnificent sunsets in the world from would be nice!
