Maher might not have sponsors, but HBO has paying customers and this one has just decided to end his HBO subscription. Enjoy the loss of revenue a-holes.

Everyone remember when the left cheered at the death of Tony Snow and exalted in his suffering from terminal cancer? But Rush must be crucified for mocking a phony left-wing Obamacare mouthpiece and stooge? "Civil discourse" is only when liberal scumbags and thugs pillory a political enemy without mercy or class. Ridiculous.

Obama's medical and health care "advisors" for the nightmare called Obamacare are unapologetic supporters of European style euthanasia of the sick and elderly based on the premise that keeping them healthy and alive costs "the government" too much money even though that money belongs to the people who are paying the sky high taxes that socialized medical systems require. Furthermore, Obama's tapping of lunatics and eugenics proponents who embrace Quality Adjusted Remaining Years (QARY) concepts and equations to determine who should live and who should die is the stuff of the Third Reich and Dr. Mengele, who, if he were alive today, would fit in nicely on Obama's unelected and unaccountable federal "Comprehensive Health Care Task Force" ; aka death panels by another name.

SNL has always been savage on Republicans and soft on Democrats, but the poisonous bile and hatred they lumped on Bush over and over and over again is in stark contrast to the good natured ribbing and light parody they selectively tease Obama with. That is why I no longer watch SNL. Comedy without courage is cowardly crap and bias without bipartisan bashing is boring.

The collective national narrative of the American Civil War has devolved into a dumbed-down passion play about the morality of slavery instead of whether or nor an independent sovereign state under the US Constitution and 10th Amendment can freely and voluntarily leave the Union as freely and voluntarily as they joined it under exactly the same premise in which the American colonies desired to secede from the British Crown with no intention of overthrowing the existing monarchy, but simply divorcing itself from it. Unfortunately, this fundamental fact and inescapable reality has always been viewed as a grave threat to the existence of the unconstitutional supremacy of the federal government over the states in all areas in which such authority does not and never has existed and which has led to the centralized government federal tyranny we all suffer under. Therefore, the Civil War must always be portrayed as a crusade to abolish slavery, not states, Constitutional rights, or limits on federal authority; and always presented in stark good vs.evil, black and white terms despite major contradictions, factual errors, omissions, false logic, and outright lies. In the decades after the Civil War, the historical template was that the Union was perpetual and war was necessary for the preservation of that Union at all costs no matter what although that was never the intention of the Founding Fathers nor would have been agreed on as terms by any of the states that joined the Union.

Yet, this debate is valid in terms of historical and Constitutional content. However, early in the 20th century the template morphed into the Civil War being justified as a moral crusade to abolish slavery, not the preservation of the Union which was the only argument supported by the Union states and Union veterans that fought the war. As they died off, the premise of the Civil War being about slavery and nothing else became that as we see now, forgetting and rejecting the two major forces that those who fought the war held and were propelled by them: the rights of sovereign states and the perpetual, indivisible union. In 2011, with the most tyrannical and massive abuse by the central federal government upon the states, the questions of state's rights and the 10th Amendment once again emerge and demand to have a hearing and the federal government's response and that of social collectivists who support an all powerful central government, albeit completely unconstitutional, immediately attempt to link any and all talk of reviving the state's Constitutional rights and original role in government as tantamount to invoking another call for secession, war, and a support of immoralities comparable to slavery. That is why in 2011, the federal government, public schools, media, academia, and Hollywood MUST continue to portray anything concerning state's rights as a rebellion and a threat to peace, civilization, and mankind itself. That's how much the federal monstrosity fears that the subject just might open some eyes which might take a second look at history and the US Constitution, a document the federal government now fears and loathes as a threat to its existence and an obstacle to its objectives.

I hope the greedy union thugs and the trough feeding public union parasites realize that when the flat broke taxpayer host goes under from their endless greed and stupidity, they who subsist off him will go under as well and in the end there will be no more free rides at his expense.

DC Comics already damaged the Superman franchise when it made Superman Returns in which Superman had pre-martial sex, fathered a child, and became a deadbeat dad when he left Earth and Lois behind for Kryptonian space without telling her or explaining anything. I guess the idiots who helped create this flop weren't satisfied with pissing off fans with this dreck and decided to one up themselves with this insulting crap. Superman never gave up his citizenship throughout the turmoil of the Civil Rights era, the Vietnam War, or the darkest days before and after, including 9/11. But he decides to now? No, an agenda is at work here and its stinks as high as Superman can fly. Liberal commie creeps just can't stop warping, poisoning, and trashing every bit of American culture, even fictional comic books. DC and Warner have horribly misjudged their audiences and will reap the results.

De Niro is the most overrated actor of his time in Hollywood and apparently in his own mind. De Niro has played larger than life Trump like characters throughout his career and made big bank on them. Now he bashes the real thing when he see it? What a phony and what a wussy. Typical Hollywood liberal loser.
