My Mom & Dad have worked very hard through their lives. They did not make more than $35K and through most of the years made considerably less. However because they are responsible and selfless my sister and I thought we were rich growing up. My parents have always done the right thing and (as sad as I am because they do have alot of medical problems) it is paying off for them because they are successfully managing their health care. The reason why they are covered is because they have been responsible their whole lifes. Our government is not here to take care of us. If I recall when I was in my early twenties the age for fully funded pension from SS was 62 through the years (keep in mind I am paying each pay period without choice) the age limit has increased and is now age 70. Now I recognized many years ago when I retire likely there will be no SS payments arriving in my mailbox and here you want me to get on board?
