Out of curiosity...how many CR citizens will join the campaign to recall Corbett?

CR citizens be concerned with our present leaders. Their actions state Cedar Rapids does not care about our neighbors for example the "Go Daddy" debacle, the "Buy Local" (sc r ew you Hiawatha & Marion) plan, and steal thy fellow Iowan cities City Managers recruitment plan. In addition the city under the guidance of our Council has spent all of the ESTIMATED 1% Local Option Sales Tax; money the city has yet to receive.
It seems to me we have left a democratic form of government are now rule by a King. Who favors a drive to recall?

Mr. Mayor Corbett, Seem to me you ran on the platform to put a stop to the city hiring consultants. Well should of known that was BULL seeing you hired a consultant to manage your campaign.

Funny; from what I have read and heard it is Mr. Corbett who has spoken ill of people.

Personally I don't think the abatement should be given out so blindly..should Swiss Valley, Soveniors Inc., be relieve of paying taxes remember they left our community. Also I don't understand why those who will be receiving bailouts for their property value are not required to pay taxes of the property they will be receiving bailouts on.
