It's an idea worth looking into further. Ebbsfleet manage to run a football club with several thousand owners so there must be some mechanism in place that would allow the voice of 10,000 to be represented. I see that Tony Fernandes last tweet suggests he's going to give football a rest. Does not sound like he's interested in taking up Sullivans offer. Maybe he was all mouth and no trousers? Who knows.
If they put out kids we'll have a very good chance at home. Have some faith in the Hammers and our kids are just as good as theirs in any case.
If nothing else it shows that there is good team spirit and the players wanting to do their best. It would be easy for a non committed player to shirk tackles so well done to the Hammers players.
Thoughtful post SJ. Whenever I pass a poppy seller they always seem to be older people, some obviously having served in WWII. I hope the younger generations will take their place when they are gone but the number of poppy wearers seems to dwindle each year.
I still remember the great shape Dean was on in the Summer after the FA Cup final. He was lean and about to become one of the best strikers in England. Then disaster struck and the rest is history. It will always be a case of what might have been. I wish Dean all the best.
