9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Apple CEO Tim Cook announces dividend and share repurchase program

"Expects to Spend $45 Billion Over Three Years" <--- This right there my friends scares me. Apple wants to spend 45% of their entire money just on the stock market? Really? The R&D costs will rise year-by-year and will cost Apple a lot. I am not happy about dividends and the repurchase program at all. In the end it could be a fatal move.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : And the new iPad is officially called...

Well that would be weird cause then we have two "old" iPads existing. Old iPad 1 and old iPad 2 because there are two products out there that carry the name "iPad". Apple never gave the official name "iPad First Generation" so yeah... it goes from there.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : Global Equities Research: iBooks Textbooks downloaded 350,000 times in three days

Incredible huge number. That proves that people want to learn but can't afford the books. Since the can now via the iTunes store its not a problem anymore. Best of the best is these books can be reused and get frequent updates. The only problem with textbooks I see is that colleges & universities are doing less revenue since books are not being purchased anymore in the regular bookstore on campus. Maybe that would lead to an increase in tuition but I have no idea how the system works in America.

9 to 5 Mac | Apple Intelligence : German regulators grilling Apple over Carrier IQ scandal

Because Carrier IQ is apparently collecting personal information and that can be "anything", and I am not near kidding there. In addition it is making us, the customers, mad that a hidden software is installed that is neither stated in the general terms and conditions. When a customer buys a product, the individual has the right to know what is all installed, including Carrier IQ.
