I think that it's disingenuous to mince words when it comes to Newt and then swallow Romney's garbage. I'm not accusing anyone per se, just saying that it's not intellectually honest.
I get so tired of people looking at people telling the truth as "attacking" each other. All of these candidates have major issues that would bother me more were it not for the fool who is living in the WH now! I like Newt a lot, he's smart and he's human. The guy screwed his life up, the guy was a hypocrite. OK, who among us hasn't been? I'll vote for who ever gets the nod, but I feel like Newt has enough insider knowledge and legitimate concern for this country that he can get things done, and undone for that matter.
It's a real shame we can't just fire these people.
That second photo of Steele pretty much sums up my feelings about all liberals. Pity.
Eh, ya know what, he's just a guy. He's mildly funny, and at least he genuine enough to be honest about his faults. He'll be dead in 5 years.
Maybe I just think for myself and don't ascribe to a party line? I think that the word "blame" is a little strong. I think that if State Farm had come to the owners and said, "Look, we understand that you have had a loss here, but there's still the matter of the damage to our customer's car." that would have showed a lot. But that's not what happened according to the story. They just sent these people a bill and it's because of these types of things that it's become so easy for the administration to demonize insurance companies (which they do regularly). Yes, it's legal and right to expect people to pay for damage caused by themselves or those they are responsible for, I'm just saying that it can be done a better way. Don't be obtuse.
I resent the implication that I am an "obamanut" first of all. And secondly, why is it that every news story comments section turns into a bunch of ridiculous "funny" Obama name changes. Obamanuts, Obamatons, Obamatarians. I'm a conservative, but that doesn't mean that they ripped my heart out when I was born. Have a little compassion.
Allow me to address this a little differently. It seems a little heartless. I'm not saying the family shouldn't pay, but there are better ways of going about it then sending an impersonal bill. Replace dog with child (as many people do in their lives for right or wrong) and see how you would feel about getting a bill for the damage your dead kid caused on someone's car. Just sayin' folks. Tact. Check it out.
