The Stupid Party again proving that stupidity in politics knows no unreachable depths. Just when you think they can't get any lower they drill deeper & deeper. Tokyo Rove & The Stupid Party are in a class all by themselves.

These folks deserve the government they currently have! These folks made a Barack Obama Presidency possible! Both terms! Again, you can't fix stupid!
Arrow, I was just "lectured to" by a "rah, rah Republican" voter two days ago that if I don't vote for the Republican nominee in 2016, whether liberal RINO "Republican" or not I'm a Democrat. You can't fix stupid! Not in this country anyway.
It's called "by hook or by crook" 2WarAbnVet. They know if their supporters are heavily taxed they lose their base in two years. Not that it matters with the ineptitude of The Stupid Party "opposition". Trusting in ANY politician, Democrat or Republican, is like walking through a German WW II minefield. Step on one & they all go off.
In terms of conservatives being dropped from committees & being purged from The Stupid Party, that would still be happening if Romney won. They wouldn't have forced the rules change through at the "convention" if the RINOs & the "leadership" of The Stupid Party didn't have this in mind. They would rather fight conservatives than the other party. They are after the same things The Democrats are after. Power & the end of conservatism. At this point in my life finally God has my allegiance. I won't be fooled by politicians of any stripe ever again. I will still vote, but very discerningly & no party will have my allegiance ever again God is the best & only alternative left. God keeps His word. This cannot be said of our "leaders". The GOP is beyond saving. It is indeed dead.
Joel, Paul Mulshine has been calling for the GOP to jettison conservatism & move to the left for quite some time now. Don't take anything he writes or says seriously. He may sound like he gives a damn about the conservative movement, but he is as left as they come. He's the David Frum of NE politics. He also doesn't give a damn about the "tea party" movement.
Thanks Joel for sharing this quote. The biggest problem with the modern conservative movement is they have stopped relying on God to provide & sustain & have put their faith in Republicans & the almighty dollar to do what God does best.

Not really guest. The so-called conservative media continually tried to sell a RINO whom conservatives wanted no part of. Talk radio, "conservative" magazines & websites, etc. have become carriers water for the RINO movement. I disagree totally with EVERYTHING the Democrats espouse, but unlike the RINO GOP they are honest & don't back down from their principles, no matter how ugly they may be.
