When the "Big Quake" hits do you want to be in a tunnel? Downtown is fill dirt anyway and now we are going to stick a tunnel down there. Besides this article isn't about you being proven correct. It is about the fact that nobody has the common sense to realize when you charge $4.00 for a toll people are going to avoid it. They say $4.00 in 2015 money, the fact is with the way the economy is going many people may not have $4.00 to spend in 2015. I bet it will be $4.00 each way not round trip. The tunnel will be for the rich and the common people who paid for it will be forced to surface streets. My prediction is that this tunnel comes in $1.5 billion over budget and 6 months - 1 year behind.
Didn't you hear it is now climate change. They can't figure out which way it is going so you change it to "climate change" and people will continue to give you money.
This is par for DSHS. EVERY SINGLE YEAR we hear about a story like this. Then the story comes out that DSHS had contact at one time with the family. DSHS needs to be shut down, everyone in DSHS needs to lose their job and a new DSHS agency should be opened.
