Clinton always reminded me of a used car salesman that could talk you into anything. While Bush, though not a great speaker, spoke from his heart. When O came on the scene everyone talked about his presence, but there is nothing to him except his agenda to turn this country upside down. If Bush has used a teleprompter, the MSM would have dogged his intelligence even more. Some reason it is okay for O.

Global warming has always been a way for Al Gore and his cohorts to make big bucks. I thought it was hilarious when they made a comparison about the energy efficiency of George Bush's Crawford house and Al Gore's house. It's another do as I say not as I do.

I plan to write Sen Inhofe and thank him for his support of Carlin and then I plan to ask my own representatives to follow Sen. Inhofe's example.

Okay, maybe I am the odd one, but I appreciate it when a man shows me respect, whether it is saying ma'am, holding a door or any other action. Dressing someone down for this just devalues our society even more, resulting in fewer people showing respect and politeness in their everyday lives. I was raised to be able to take care of myself, but at the same time to appreciate when someone shows you kindness.

Did anyone see the news clip from MSNBC with Evan Thomas. He said that Obama was above the world, he was god. To worship any single person is dangerous and that is what the msm and the democrats are doing. The POTUS is arrogant enough without these fools saying he is god. Very scary.

I don't understand how anyone can say waterboarding is torture. When I think of torture, I think of maiming the body. You walk away from waterboarding without a scratch. Its uncomfortable, but in my opinion if making someone uncomfortable saves American lives, then so be it. American needs to get a set and take what steps we need to protect our country.

Our climate changes all the time because that is just what it does. I live in central Texas and we never have snow. But two Easters ago, we got snow....snow in April. I emailed pictures to my family in Virginia with the title of "Da*n Global warming.

Al Gore is making big bucks on this along with many other of these crazies. He will fight to the death on the validity of Global Warning for that reason alone.

When I thought I was pregnant at 19 and went to clinic for confirmation, I had no opinion on abortion one way or another. The clinic made me watch films similar to the pics you posted. While I had not considered abortion, the film made me realize that abortion was not a valid answer for an inconvenient pregnancy. I became pro-life that day.

Obama had stated that he did not want his daughter punished for a mistake which is why he supported abortion. I written before that my daughter found herself pregnant at 17. She is now 23 with a bachelor degree and a beautiful 5 year old little boy. Babies are not punishment, but gifts for us to cherish.

My daughter just graduated with her nursing degree and is horrified about this law. She was a 17 year old mom who struggled to graduate high school and college with a beautiful little boy. She is completely against abortion and hopes never to have to deal with being forced to be a part of one.

Does anyone know the true numbers of abortions performed because of rape? I'm betting they are exceedingly low. More often abortion is used as a matter of birth control.

But my husband put that same issue to me....would I have an abortion for being raped. I wouldn't because to me once a baby is created, killing it would be no different than killing my other children that were not a result of rape. A baby is its own being and to kill it because of a horrible incident does not erase the horrible incident. Just my thoughts. Probably a lot of folks don't agree but I know that I never have to justify killing a baby.
