everytime I get online I find someting else that has been sneaked in and it does seem that we are under attack- it is as thought there has been a coup and it happened so fast that our heads are spinning. I think that has been part of the thing- hit itall at once and we do not have time to catch it and know what to do--but we must respond and we must unite and have our voices heard.
I was watching Glenn tonight and he brought up the ACORN thing and it reminded me of a flyer I found in a RedCross shelter after Katrina. Now I live in South Florida and we had a lot of folks end up here. So I volunteered at the shelter that was set up here and I remember finding this flyer and wondering who the heck ACORN was. Now I am wondering how much stirring of the pot they did back then trying to make it sound like""whitey was trying to drown all the negroes"- never mind white folks lost their homes as well. Sorry If I offended any one but a very liberal friend called me hysterical that Bush was making all the negroes stay in the superdome like her "pet" nanny who raised her.Needless to say we do not talk much anymore. I think ACORN needs to be investigated. I think that they are behind a lot of unsavory things.
I am already a Red cross volunteer and a CERT Member and I am on call during hurricane season for one of the hospitals as a Ham-I do have to work for money to send the government as well. I do not do it becuase I have to- i do it to help but if I am told I have to- well i am a bit contrary. This is what you get when you elect a community organizer.

Wexler is my rep- for what that is worth- I think he was using a drawer in his parents house - he has since decided that maybe he should rent his own place. He tends to focus on the seniors and to h_ll with the rest of us. I will give him this you can call his office and at least have someone to talk to. Unlike Martinez who has an office staff that is completely unhelpful. We have to vote where we live so who we vote for should live there also.
