really enjoyed this note. I am a bit behind but committed to making it happen. I really like the roots and fruit idea. As I am till feeling the pressure of dealing with my current results from and trying to figure out what plans I need to make for the future this line "You can, however, change tomorrow’s fruits. But to do so, you will have to dig below the ground and strengthen the roots.” Really hit home. Also really like the distinction of declarations vs. affirmations...cause as much as I try I do always hear that little voice...so restating them is a great IDEA..."I AM working each day to create my dream career and financial freedom!" Yes I am.

Ugh I feel really stuck in the mud with this one. I can so relate to the statment "We are much better at planning a project at a job we hate than planning a life to create a job we love." With all that has gone on with the economy today...being one of the many who lost their job and was out of work for over a year. I feel the weight of this note and still struggle with putting pen to paper on "What is my specific mission in Life?" That is really hard to focus on when basic needs (rent, food, bills..) can't be met...yet I see it is just being a Pavlovian dog.

Be impeccable with your word. Love this concept. However I can’t seem to pick one of these agreements over the others. They are all so interconnected and essential. They seem to me to be like a circle. You can enter with anyone of them at any point. If you are not impeccable with your word you will tend to take things personally and vice-versa. We get caught up in the things that others say and more importantly with the things we internalize and continue to say to ourselves. We shame ourselves with our inter-dialogue. I know I do. Or we make assumptions about what others want or mean and therefore we can be impeccable with our word or do our best. Because we don’t stop to simply ask questions. Brilliant book. And the idea about what sin is, is so crucial for me. Taking the dogmatic stigma out of it was so freeing. Amazing start…looking forward to taking this journey will all of you beautiful souls.
