Every state does vary on the automatic law. Active law enforcement and military are often exempt from any ordinances regarding the automatic.

PXD's bespoke service will customize a Sub 14060 to your spec. Though I agree it would be closer to the 6538, one of the things I like best about the SS1 is it pays tribute to the 6538 without trying to be it.

Daniel Craig does own one, and allegedly wears it to channel the 6538 while keeping his real one home and safe.
