That\'s interesting, Dave. Even though it\'s a different world writing a blog than reporting for a newspaper, for the most part I try to be like Switzerland - neutral. I always welcome a variety of points of views, of course. I wonder what other readers think.

Kris, That\'s interesting. Maybe some techie can explain why the second half of the second story can be found online. Of course, even I know once something has appeared on the Internet, it never truly disappears. I went on Forbes.com and it is clear that they have officially removed the links to both articles. NAR didn\'t include Detroit in this analysis, Dave. It released data on the MSA\'s in which it was most comfortable that the information it had was very good.

How right you are, Llinda.
I tried to contact the reporter, but she doesn't seem to be listed in their directory, to ask those very questions. I also sent them an e-mail, which they have not responded to.

I think it's a pretty safe bet that April will be a strong month, and there probably will be a lot of closing through June. It will be fascinating to see what happens afterward.
