Big Government : TSA to Investigate American Citizen Who Refused Body Scan

El Al had a hijacker in November of 2002 while ours was 9/11/01. If that was 40 years ago, then I am a LOT younger than I thought and not eligible to vote. The hijacker of El Al spend a year in prison and has been on home arrest since then. A terrorist can look like your grandmother, if you are being held hostage until she introduces contraband to a jet.

Big Government : The TSA's Humiliating and Ineffective Security Policies

They just show a bunch of blobs. It isn't as if someone is going to say, "Hey guy, those come in adult sizes, TOO" http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=783_1206201875 That is what happens when a bad search is done. Unfortunately, terrorists do not just kill themselves, like this guy in San Bernadino Co. Jail did. Go ahead and set up another 9/11. I will refuse to fly on any airline or plane that does not have a thorough search of all passengers. That includes some old grandma who has C4 strapped to her chest because her family is being held hostage.

The claim that profiling is "effective" is an assumption going around that is full of error. The moment you exclude little old ladies their children and grandchildren will be held hostage while she boards with C4 onto a 787.

The woman followed the traffic laws, including the traffic devices, speeds, and stopping at stop signs. At no point is the original officer who attempted the stop, named, that claimed to be flashed by her. Regarding following too close, which was the original violation mentioned, it is certainly not unusual and rarely enforced. In fact, police could be regularly charged for following too close. Certainly the use of spiked strips created far more danger to the public safety than a driver obeying traffic laws. There are a great deal of unanswered questions in this issue, which seems to be an over-reaction by all parties involved. I would not assume no crime was committed, but I do not assume the officer had no part in provoking this either. You are jumping to conclusions.

The officers were the threat to public safety when they put down a spike strip to stop a driver which, by their own admission, did not violate any traffic laws after their pursuit. If erratic driving, driving too close, and other antisocial behaviors were a felony, there would be plenty of officers in prison. The claim of insubordination is curious. Since when are citizens subordinate to any government official? Honking your horn is at best a traffic violation; not a crime.

Here is the problem. Joe "You LIE!" Wilson is infected with the truth. So are 39 Blue Dog Democrats. How do we spread this infecton. The Democrats are always claiming they speak truth to power. If so, President B.H.Obama, Chairwoman Pelosi, and Senator Harry "Baghdad" Reid have been innoculated against it. How do I get Cong. Schrader infected by Rep. Wilson?

This "Public Option" is newspeak for a government option. A public option would be a real referendum the people would get to vote on. When confronted at a townhall meeting, Cong. Barney Franks' come back was, "You don't have a vote." If this were a democracy, these issues that affect us all would be left up to each state to hold a referendum and let the people vote. As is, we are being held hostage by "representatives" that fail to represent. We cannot recall them. We can vote them out only every two years. I can change insurance companies without a revolution. I do not want my medications delivered by the government that sends me the mail addressed to others. OPT OUT assumes Congress has a power not given to it by the Constitution. OPT IN allows states to hold a referendum. However, Democrats hate democracy as much as Republicans hate the republic being powerful and big.

KVAL - Eugene, OR : Two plead guilty to burning \'KKK\' into lawn | KVAL CBS 13 - News, Weather and Sports - Eugene, OR

Matches could be clamed to be a "small explosive device." Indeed, I have seen some constructed from match heads. I would not want to call this arson nor is it the felony material we should be puting anyone in prison for. The punishment should fit the crime. No one was hurt and the intend to do bodily harm was not there. People should consider the costs of these things. Overcrowding causes assaults on staff, destruction of facilities, and civil remedies being paid to prisoners. Add to that the fact we are approaching $40,000 a year per inmate. The Oregon Constitution used to say, "Laws for the purposes of punishment will be for reformation rather than vindictive justice." It was a mistake to change that. When the system is vindictive it vindicates the criminal and makes him or her a hero. I would rather give these "heros" ten years of picking up trash on the highways once a month, restitution to pay for replanting the WHOLE lawn, and a monthly supervision fee while they are on probation. These two seem to have not enough to do with their time. In these times, do we want to make the citizens pay for their crime? Or them?

Of course, when you believe that people who do things that could torturously kill a child, start with drunk drivers who blow a .10. Just axe their heads off with a dull blade. Drunk drivers end up killing and mutilating more people than all other crimes put together. Drunk drivers are responsible for more loss of property than all other crimes put together. Why wait for a court or a jury to listen to the evidence? You all want blood, so just do it in public as an act of vengence and deterence. Of course, if you are caught drunk driving in come South American countries, they just use a firing squad and it is over. Don't let due process get in the way of a good time. Perhaps you could even makes some money on it from the networks. THAT would make you all happy.

Chloroform is also a component of a mixture used to extract DNA from samples. They only found SEVEN of 400 gases present in a decomposing body. BUT, do not let bad science get tin the way of a popular conviction. Keep that up and this will look like the Jonbenet Ramsay case. HER mother almost lived long enough to find out she was cleared of that. You never know if Casey could be cleared, so slaughter her NOW! Who cares whether she is guilty of murder or manslaughter. Just draw and quarter her on TV for everyone's enjoyment.

Is it a mitochondrial DNA test which matches everyone who descended from the same maternal ancestor in the last 20 generations as THE DEFENDENT? Is it a Y Chromosome test which matches everyone who has the same paternal lineage for the past 400 years. There may be a way to combine all of these that will resolve the identity to one person, but is what they have beyond a reasonable doubt unless they do FULL testing?
