The forest is on fire... I know what you are saying. I voted R my entire life because I was trying to stop the Dems. and Libs. from taking over... It did not help. Look where we are today; if the Republicans get back to the Ronald Reagan values then I will be happy to support that person; but I will not vote for a RINO again.

What if we get another John McCain? I will say the Republicans are more inline with my values but that is dwindeling everday. That is why I say and will keep saying forget the party and vote the person.

If would you give your vote to some one who will fight for your rights you might lose it or if you vote party lines you could get Arlen Spector or Olympia Snow; it could happen right?

If you vote party lines and we get the same thing; then it is on those who dont look at the person but the letter behind their name. The attitued to vote D or R or I no matter what is why we are in this mess. And I will admit that was my view... It was misguided and I will no longer vote that way. With that said I will place my vote with the person whom I believe will fight for the Constitution so my vote will matter even if the person does not win. If everyone voted this way then we would not need to worry about what party the person belongs to. So if you wish to stick your head in the sand and ignore people who believe this way it will not bother me; but I will speak out and I think you may just read one or two of my posts. No disrespect intended ;-)
