Perry engaged in severe crony capitalism with Merck on Gardasil deal and with windmill manufacturers with his TX Renewable Energy Act. Also, the fund you cited to bring high-tech investment to TX (as if we needed that with TI and NASA having been here for decades!)
In every case, he has received large campaign donations from the companies he helped.
