A friend of mine had this great idea.
1)Taxes should be paid at the state and local levels only.
2)The federal government should collect tax from each state according to population which would be used for federal services such as defense.

Anybody notice the new administration has been speaking of getting us to "spend" again? Was it not that long ago that this administration was blaming the former administration for suggesting we do the same thing in 2001? Also, weren't we told at one time that it was our spending that got us here in the first place?
