Hey Dana,
I don't really dig the posing.
Jeff
Look closely at Obamzymandias' face in the picture of him talking to Blago. Where is all of that nice guy persona? What I see in that picture is a political boss giving orders to an underling.
I don't think Obama is all that interested in removing Gaddafi.
You are nitpicking over semantics. Of course, if there were no government to protect you from being killed, you would still have the right to life, but that right would be non-existent because there would be no way to enforce it. Nice try though.
The Ramones have one of the most beautiful and heartbreaking stories in rock history. They are the epitome of what rock n roll aspires to be. It is tragic that they passed without their due recognition, yet paradoxically, if they had achieved that recognition, it would have somehow destroyed their perfection.
The reason so many involved with the Wisconsin protests haven't curbed their rhetoric in light of the Giffords shooting is because most of them are not politically aware. They were probably too busy watching "American Idol" to know that it is no longer considered O.K. to act the way they've been acting for the last forty years.
You may have a point, but since Kathy Griffin has publicly stated that she intends to go after Sarah Palin and her kids, my guess is that her depiction in "Glee" has more of a political motivation than just camp.
You hit the Medved nail on the head. He is what I call a bean-counter Republican. What matters to him is whether or not a candidate is a Republican: how that candidate votes on issues is not as important. Medved railed against O'Donnell in Delaware and supported Castle. If Castle was conservative, he would have won the primary, but Medved wanted him to win despite his record. The same goes for Arlen Specter. Let us not forget that Medved started out as a liberal Democrat. I think his rebirth into Judaism made him become conservative on social issues, but as far as government goes, he has retained many of his liberal Democrat beliefs. I like Michael Medved, but to me, he is an example of one of the few Democrats that didn't move to the radical left along with the party. He just switched over and called himself Republican.
According to BC Fortenberry, Breitbart is a corrosive influence in politics. Yes, he is if you are a leftist. He is as corrosive as a crucifix and sunlight are to a vampire because the left hates truth.
