Wasn't it the journalist MIchael Weisskopf who said, "Christians are largely poor, uneducated and easy to command?" How strangely descriptive of the Manipulators of Perception. They can add, See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil, unless it's about conservatives.

Wow. They 'love' us, they 'care' about us. Explain Islamaphobia to me one more time.

I think the only people who will believe the spin are the spinsters who are spinning it. You know the adage: Never believe your own press releases? They seem to have forgotten it. Michelle Malking really took the fools to the woodshed, today: http://tinyurl.com/2aucavx

Can't bring yourself to say Allah or Mohammed or Muslim?

Does anyone think that the sheriff and the liberal press succeeded at all in their attempt at smearing conservatives or tea partiers for this?

I go to movies rarely. Certainly not like I used to. Aside from the price, the incessant noise bothers me. From the moment I sit down until the picture's over. I have come to hate the whole experience and cost.
On the other hand, we purchased (with cash we'd saved for 2 years) a 52 inch flat screen led vizio, and it is really like watching a movie in a theater. Overall, a better experience, even. And so much cheaper.

It is said that music is the language of love, and Islam frowns on music. Islam is the language of hate. Its vocabulary is shrinking as it shrieks and it will eventually die out, an empty husk of verbiage blowing sand.

I can't believe my daughter wants this. I think both your comments are the truth. I can't handle the truth, at least not without kevlar oven mitts and tongs.

Most of the books on the Polyglot bookshelf have been recorded on Librivox by native speakers. I have Pinocchio, L'inferno, Daudet and Zola's Comédie Humaine on my mp3 player. This is a great addition to learning a language. One of the more difficult things for me living in a monolingual place with few bookstores at the time, was finding literature in original languages. The internet has really opened up a whole bunch of windows for us.

The veil succeeds in robbing women of their identities and makes them invisible to society. These are not declarations of modesty but of nonexistence. They are portable prisons.
