I loved this show and was very upset when they cancelled it. I have a hard time starting to watch new shows because I know if they are brave enough to show some of the same beliefs and views that I have then they do not have long to live.

Par10 you are so right. I don't like the people who portray the detectives or the ADA's. The last good actors were Jerry Orbach, Fred Thompson, and Angie Harmon. I loved Michael Moriarty, but I watched several years after he left. But once the others all left, I did too. The show is just leftist garbage now. I guess I first noticed it when Jesse L. Martin came on. His character made a lot of comments that I did not agree with. I tried to watch it once this season and ended up turning it off. It saddens me because I remember when my mom and I would not have missed a single episode.

He can't become a citizen because he is HIV positive. I think he should get back to Britain where he belongs. As stated previously, we already have enough RINO's, we don't need him poking his nose in where it doesn't belong.

I watched more than that, but after a while my stomach started churning. I had to turn it off or risk vomiting all over my computer. I can't believe some of the things that these people can come up with.

It's great to see you here, sir. I loved Law and Order when it first started out. I no longer watch it. It has gone so far left that I can no longer stomach it. Please keep bringing more writings like this one. We have 3 more years to put up with what is in the White House. We need to hear from folks like you to keep us sane for the next 3 years.

My mom and I used to watch this show every week. I always loved it. And I stuck with it until they got rid of all of the conservatives from the show. Now it is one liberal rant after another. I think it probably started with the replacement of Dzundza and then Moriarty and Sorvino. After Lenny left though I quit watching. At the end I only watched it for Angie Harmon, Fred Thompson, and Jerry Orbach. Once they were all gone, so was I.

You are wrong about Jesus and the Law. In Matthew, Chapter 5, verse 17 and following, Jesus tells the people that he has not come to abolish the Law or the Prophets, but to fulfill them. It is true that a lot of the rules in the Old Testament were current to the time and the people, but no where does it say they were all to be tossed out. The problem was that the teachers of the Law were coming up with so many man-made rules, not God's law. Actually if we were to obey the basic 10 that God laid out at the beginning we would probably have a much more beautiful world.

This was my favorite show on TV when it first started. My mom and I watched it every week. We had a Bible study group meet at our house on Wednesday nights so we had to tape it. As soon as everyone left we watched our show. I loved Chris Noth and the great Jerry Orbach and Angie Harmon and Fred Thompson, but I can no longer stomach the "in-your-face" politics of it now. If it at least tried to be bi-partisan I might be able to watch again, but I believe that ship sailed a long time ago. Now I will just keep to the re-runs from several seasons ago.

Oh for those days again. It is interesting though that I was in elementary school in the early 70's and we were taught all the military songs in music class too. My children today do not know them. We just had a parent/teacher conference with our 6th grader. He is learning about the ancient Egyptians right now, but still does not know a whole lot about his own country's development, other than what his father and I have tried to teach him. Our education system is in shambles.
