In this movie, you actually see authentic NY apartments: Barely enough room to move to turn around in.
Thanks to Seinfeld and Friends and other NY shows, people have ludicrously absurd expectations about what it is like to live in NYC.

"Groundhog's Day" is a movie that seemed unlikely upon its release to have withstood the test of time, but it is probably the movie that will ensure Bill Murray will always be remembered.

"Harvey" is as watchable today as it ever was.

And "Song of the South" continues to have an ardent fan-base despite the Disney Company's inexplicable embarrassment by it and it's attempt to kill it by never releasing it on DVD. Compare it to the proud acclaim "Gone With the Wind" receives. One day it will be released again and people will rightly honor James Baskins ("Uncle Remus") for his ground-breaking performance, deserving of his Oscar, the first Black man to receive one. And the movie itself will be seen as the first Black Pride movie released as a major feature film.

If it were just Afghanistan, we would have been out after the first election. But it's not. Afghanistan's problems stem from it's proximity to Pakistan (primarily) and Iran (secondarily). If we walk away, how long will it be before extremist elements in one of those countries pass nuclear material to Taliban elements. When the bomb goes off in NYC, those countries will claim innocence, and the President that pulled us from Afghanistan will take the blame.

The Af-Pak War is our effort to baby-sit Iran and Pakistan and to keep them "honest". We're saying "Yoo hoo! We just over the border! If some of your nuclear material gets mislaid, we know where to find you." Maybe we don't need $350m a year to do this. I don't know. Maybe we should figure out how to leverage more of this task out of fewer troops. I'm sure Rumsfeld (OMG I've invoked the Devil!) would be figuring out how to do that. We don't need 100K troops to fight the Columbian Drug Lords. But the task cannot be just abandoned.

QoS was a love letter to the South American anti-liberal socialist regimes. The movie's politics poisoned whatever fun could be squeezed from it.

This is the way syndiction works in non-major markets. But as Jeremy said, you still have to deliver a desired product. OR you could use a failing business model like Air America where you seek out a station that will program to you exclusively. The station that was willing to do that in lefty Austin TX dropped AA after 6 months and went back to programming Latino music.
