Not a programmer, really just hacked this together. I am in the process of creating v2, which is a total rewrite so will make sure to include this. The current version is functional for now, until I roll the next version out. Thanks for offer of help though.

I am sorry. I have spent time and money on this project and have minimal financial incentive (I have other incentives). Therefore some things might not work and may take awhile to fix.

No there isn't that I am aware of and I have and android as well. The POI are in kml format. not sure what format they would need to be in to be used with these apps.

I don't know. It will depend on how strong their signal is. Radio waves are affected by walls but not necessarily stopped by them.

I have not come across any information that this is true. Which is why no McD's are on the map.
