Karan, there is a good possibility that those "70 plus greeter's at WalMart" need those jobs just as much as your son. They are our elderly who may not have a fat retirement to see them through in these hard economic times! I hardly think they would choose to be a greeter if they didn't need the extra income to augment their Social Security or retirement. They need to eat and pay bills just like the rest of us! Lucky you to have an $1800 a month retirement check!

I agree that people make mistakes, but this one had serious potential consequences. You are right, he can't change what happened, and with his termination he wont be there to let it happen again.

Yes, by all means, see your Doctor. It may not be H1N1 and could be another serious illness. Don't ignore this.
