New Hampshire Startup Blog : Tour of NH Startups!

Thanks Shawn. It&#039;s an interesting idea that I&#039;m willing to dive a bit deeper into. I would imagine though that taking video in a companies offices would require signing release forms. If for some reason we cant manage video, we will definitely take photo&#039;s. I have a Kodak Zi8 (similar to a Flip Cam) but if we are going to film these... it would be good to find someone with a high resolution Camcorder. If you have ideas on that, shoot me an email: JVocell@Gmail.com

Thanks Barbara. I&#039;m definitely interested in doing some write-up&#039;s on &quot;green&quot; companies. Did you have any companies in particular in mind? Edit: I am trying to get in contact with various energy companies around New Hampshire to do a &quot;Profile of&quot; piece on. I&#039;m hesitant to give company names in case for some reason it doesn&#039;t happen, but let me know what you were thinking.

Thanks for sharing that Jonathan. I honestly had no idea of nehn.com, but it certainly looks interesting. Too bad they stopped updating it. We are looking to do some more things around New Hampshire to ramp up the participation and involvement in startups... but I cant share just what yet ;)

Hey Shawn - I really like your product, and although I was never involved in Gymnastics my sister was. I actually have two questions... - Is the product currently available for sale? (If not, any idea on a time-frame?) - Are different sizes available? (My daughter was just born 4 months ago, and she&#039;s alittle young for gymnastics... just thinking ahead)

New Hampshire Startup Blog : What Venture Capitalists Really Want to Know

Thanks for the comment, Wendy. Interesting movement, I have certainly heard of the concept of &quot;Locavore&quot; but did not know there was a word for it, nor that it was a movement. Great YouTube video as well. What type of camera did you record it on? All the best, Jeffrey Vocell

Hi Kelley, Thanks for the comments. Great to see Float Left Labs contributing with the Co-Working space in Manchester. I only hope it serves as an example for more co working in New Hampshire.

Hi Nick, Thanks for all the information! I had no idea there was an effort in Portsmouth to start a co-working space. I do agree with you that Dogpatch Labs and Betahouse should be models for us (in New Hampshire) if we are going to open up more co-working space.

New Hampshire Startup Blog : Next Week: Upcoming Events in New Hampshire

Note: I will be updating this, and posting a bi-weekly event list in the future. I was preparing for next weeks list (1/25 - 1/29) and did not see many events. Although there is a Business after hours event in Exeter (<a href="http://www.portsmouthchamber.org/cwi/calendar/calendar_display.cfm?eventID=2395)," target="_blank">http://www.portsmouthchamber.org/cwi/calendar/cal...</a> it does not seem to be entrepreneur or startup focused. Again, if you have any suggestions for events please let me know!
