Rue my dear, Sorry for the delayed reply. I got your comment over at my blog and I have some answers for you.... 1) We're great thanks for asking. We'll have a brand new Braves fan by next season! 2) Yes, we will do our blogger day but I needed more time to organize it. I think doing it at the park might be fun but I'd just as soon do it at Taco Mac if everyone's good with that. Great, entertaining post too. True and he did have talent but when he starting becoming a clubhouse distraction, it's not fair to the guys who are trying to be professional and play ball. I haven't really missed him.

Thing is... most of us true Braves fans have some level of contempt for Rocker too. The guy was poison in the clubhouse. Not only did he say the things he did about NY fans, he took shots at our own players (Randall Simon at the time). He had some good saves but I can't say he wore the Braves uniform well. Thanks for chiming in, guys. Great game for our guys today!

Dukes pounded his chest in front of Nunez in a game against the Braves that was a bases loaded walk off walk. Nunez was pissed about that. I would be too. It's a walk for crying out loud!!! What ever happened to pitching inside when I guy is hovering over the plate? Batters act like they don't expect to ever get hit anymore. If you hit a homer off Bob Gibson back in the day, next at bat...he DRILLED you.

Well it's kind of nice to hear a Mets fan say he only hates us after the Phils, Fish, and Nats. For me the "hate" with the Mets is a rivalry that I enjoy. Hating a team for me is about hating the players and how the team is run and so many other things. I have more respect for the Mets this year and have enjoyed all the connections I've made with Mets fans this year so it's hard to "hate" them in the same way you hate the Nats. I enjoy playing the Mets and beating them but that's because it's a really good rivalry to me.

I really think y'all will win the division. I gotta say though... Even with a crummy season, I LOVE Braves vs Mets series. Nothing else matters when we play y'all and it's part of what makes baseball so much fun to me. I actually had a renewed excitement when I saw the Braves in Shea last night. You going to any games?
