Why are you liberals so condescending and nasty? I looked at your other posts. They’re all condescending, but I’m sure you are a much superior person than rest of us lowly souls that you find irritating and beneath you.
I absolutely know what that word means. Those those tax dollars will "forever" be taken off the tax rolls--into infinitely--or at least as long as we are a county.
I'm very sorry for the family. I understand he was a wonderful person.
Every time the question is asked about homosexuality at the forums, it is asked by Rettig's people. It is deliberately asked to inflame. Who is really going to ask a question and say "according to the holy bible"? Those are planted questions. Janelle Rettig had the questions ahead of time and it wouldn't surprise me if she wrote them. We all talked about it after the forum. He asked questions about Lori being a resident of Iowa. He was not fair to Lori Cardella at all. It was awful.
I was at this forum. It was obvious from the beginning that Bob Welch was biased against Lori Cardella. At the end of the forum he read personal questions directly addressing Ms. Cardella--which was very inappropriate at a political forum. We discussed, after the forum that Janelle Rettig appeared to know the answers ahead of time. We actually wondered if she wrote the questions. If you were paying attention at all, you could tell something was not right. This goes beyond being a conflict of interest. It's cheating and giving an unfair advantage to Janelle Rettig. It was so bad that Bob Welch's wife made him scratch question #6 because it was inappropriate. It was typed on the sheet, but there was a line through it. This is unbelievable.
Brent, thanks for fighting the good fight on watching our tax dollars. You're a good man and a great supervisor.
My sign was stolen and I live on a dead end road. Cardella's sign was stolen and they live on a dead end road. I've been in politics my whole life and I've never had a sign stolen before. And why are you being so nasty?
Thank you to all of you that worked so hard to collect signatures for the petition. We should never give up our right to vote. Two of the three-member appointing panel had openly endorsed Janelle Rettig prior to appointing her—one actually being on her election committee. There has to be some level of integrity here. And the $75,000 figure is an arbitrary one, as they’ve not had a special election since 1997 and don’t actually know how much it is going to cost.
Because we should cut at least 10% from our budget anyway. It is a bloated budget.
