I'm amazed that the politicians get these guys all ginned up and send them off to dream about "Greater Humanitarian Issues" Nobody with any responsibility seems to acknowledge the core fact: THIS COUNTRY IS OUT OF MONEY!!!! WE NEED TO STOP SPENDING!! WE'RE GOING DOWN THE EUROPE ROAD!! THE EUROPEANS CAN'T AFFORD THEIR SPENDING EITHER!! HOW CAN WE CONTINUE TO IGNORE THE FACTS? Somebody please enlighten me.

The punishment will continue until morale improves. Is that what we're looking at here?

Take a look:

Scroll down to "45 COMMUNIST GOALS TO TAKE OVER THE USA" Since the goals were written in 1963, 19 are not directly pertinent today or may have already come to pass, but the other 26 send a cold chill! Does this look like the plan?

An unconfirmed news report just released by Fox, says Treasury Department reports that the new debt ceiling (just increased by Congress last month) will be reached before the end of February, 2010....this month. I sure hope this isn't true, but I'll put money on the fact that it is. If true, our credit card just got maxed again and we're emulating Japan. The government needs to start by rolling all expenses back by 10%, right now. Whether or not the goverment rolls back it's expenses, or whether it increases taxes to pay its increased expenditures, the effect rolls down to the average American. I'd prefer to take the hit today, rather than to spread the same hit over a period of years, expressed as inerest on the increased National Debt and an increased loss of independence from the Chinese.

Chicago Ralph - That's the difference between a Government Pipe Dream and a personal Pipe Dream. We're personally responsible for the costs of our own Pipe Dreams and we know how much we have to spend. When it comes to a Government Pipe Dream: first, "No price is too high", and second, the Amercian People get to pay the costs without being consulted.
This goes to the core of what the great majority of Americans dislike about the way things have gone.....Those in Government who work at our pleasure think we have no right to decide where, why and how much we want to be taxed and no right to decide when "Enough Government is enough"! We must tell them...."Enough Government for them is way too much for us."!

I'd like to agree that they don't KNOW how to tell the truth (that would be charitable), but in reality, they will lie even when the truth would sound better.

Let's pretend, for a moment, that the climate data was true, and unimpeachable. Is the proposed solution, a solution that will reportedly bankrupt our nation while resolving nothing, correct? I think not, but I'd really like to hear other's opinions.
